Royal Model 801, Serial 37D:

Websites indicated the replacement belt for this model is P/N1-672260-001. I ordered it, but it is too small; it is extremely difficult to mount on the drive spindle and subsequently significantly binds the motor. ----
What is actually the correct belt for this model and where can it be bought? -----

What outside replacement bag will work for this model and where can it be bought?

Thank you for your information.

The correct belt number for this machine would actually be 1044260001, which replaced original part number 1043260001. You can buy this here:

As Les pointed out, the correct outer bag was, last, 3-080142-101, but like he said earlier... good luck finding one now.

I would say the bag may be hard to find, but not impossible. They do turn up on ebay now and then, just keep your eyes open and be patient. Also, if I remember right, one or more parts distributors like Hesco or Steel City used to sell generic Royal bags, plain grey with no printing. Maybe they still do. Also check Vac Parts Plus, the Henry Company's online store. They do still carry quite a bit of Royal parts. Good luck,
Jeff
