Thanks, It is dusty undeath and towards the back of the hood (maybe a leak?), but the rest looks really nice. I wonder if my bag is original. Singer experts? I wonder if it or the Kenmore is noisier? | ||

No, you’re not missing anything. Here are the undersides of two of mine. I can see why you might think that because of the extra screw holes.
Make sure the clamp that secures the bag is tight. Probably could add some weather striping if the original foam has worn off. Where the bag connects to the base. | ||

I would say the bag is probably original. They made so many variants of those. I have a few brochures with different bag designs, amps, colors etc.
