"-is it this?-"

No.Would be good to see better pics of entire vac.But this seems to be slightly in the manner of the post war 2 fan singer. What I saw an ad for in Electrical Merchandising was more in the manner of a 20s Eureka with the 2nd fan behind the motor and dirt going from the front fan to rear fan to bag.I have copies in a box somewhere that if I had time I would sort and move to file drawers.

Having two direct air fans in sequence would increase the pressure (water lift) which would be great for attachment use. Both Singer and Air-Way's two fan uprights were different. What a coincidence that the patent for the pictured machine expired about two years before Air-Way launched their twin fan DirtMasteR.

Expired patents are a good way to profit off another's ideas that flopped. Just have to have the right person that knows what went wrong and capitalize on it.

Expired patents.

They are also a great way to learn the history of a company. This is especially true with the machines that never got past the prototype stage. And this isn't just the vacuum cleaners themselves, this also goes for attachments, bag designs, and a myriad of other things.

I have never heard of or imagined the above vac!It even has slide on hose adapter.

This Air Way?

No.Will try to begin a search of many file boxes of vac literature.
You're finding some great vac history.Did filing a patent at that time require a working model to be built?

Graybar 2 fan

I think you might be referring to a Graybar two-fan. Model 20 and 25
Here are some pics of ads and of my machine that I haven’t had the chance to rebuild yet.

Hoover 300

Found on marketplace. I think it came from NC. Had to beg them for a few weeks to ship it to me. They only wanted to do local pick up.

That is crazy.. All the more reason to thoroughly comb Marketplace. I just got the no. 30 Handy Cleanerette mentioned in the ad, cute little thing.
