This thing is amazing! Totally Worth the money spent. It is not 'LOUD' as people make them out to be. I can tell it is not a deep cleaner. I am an old Kmart ad saying they are almost $200, now IMO that is WAYY to much for this hunk of plastic. and the box has the original Wal*Mart sticker on it saying $197.00. Heesh, again, too much. Overall, it is an ok vacuum that is fun but will not be used much!

Btw, i noticed the biggest flaw. The Handle! I am guessing to many people picked it up by the handle and snapped it right off. Even when your vacuuming with it, the hand grip is SO flimsy and breakable. I have gotta be very careful! Anyways enjoy the pictures and i'll have a see it clean vid by tomorrow or so!

~Kyle~

P.S.

What looks like scratchs are actually reflections, there is not one scratch...luckily.

My Aunt had one of those, they really were $200 and they sold like crazy in our area. My Aunt got hers in 1993 at the K-Mart. They liked it they used it at home for 6 years and then it went to my Aunt's flower shop until it was ruined by a flood in the fall of 2004. It was very well used, the switch was replaced, the hose was worn and taped in a few spots, and the plastic cover for the bag cracked and was taped together. it did hold up very well for the very hard daily work it had.
I havn't seen other than my Aunts Dirt Devil one like that for almost 10 years.

Great find by the way

That looks really good. I'm not too supprised that it's quiet. It is one of the older versions with 7.5 amps. I think the later ones had 11.5 or 12, and thats probably where the reputation for loudness came from.

just found one of those in the trash with box

LOL

its red though

& the handle is hollow
with the top grip missing

flimsy is right

it works though so don't know why it was in the garbage

Here's the mint dirt devil

Kyle,
I think it's smart looking. My friend had one and the handle did break. It couldn't be any louder than my Royal metal upright or the new Hoover Anniversay. Did they have dusting tools? I also like the light. Very nice find!

I had a D/D jaguar

I loved it but my partner donated it by mistake because it was in the I dont like to use corner of the house. Its basically the same thing.

Kyle, I had one of those come in my vac shop a few years ago as a trade in (I forget what they traded it for) it was in near mint. it had a red light by the switch that lit up when the bag was full. Is this the same model?

It was greart to meet you at the convention this year and look forward to next year!!!
