Hi I have a bissell proheat Clearview that as in the picture I'm having trouble reassembling and I can't figure out what is causing this.
Thanks.

You're better off scrapping the thing and buying the Big Green commercial. I'd do that if I were you.

Did you try reassembling with the handle down and flat on the floor before screwing it back on? When the handle is up it pushes the base forward - that might be your problem. Go over every part and jiggle it a bit and make sure its fully seated where it should be.

I was only trying to help. Even panasonicvac would never EVER touch a Bissell shampooer unless if it was the Big Green.

....and that is relevant....how exactly?

Everyone has a different brain with different thoughts, feelings, emotions, and opinions. People can use whatever they are comfortable with and can afford on their budget. Furthermore, people restore and rebuild every kind of vacuum no matter who or what brand it is.

Telling someone to throw something out that they are in the process of repairing and asking for help to repair and just telling them to buy something else is NOT helping anything or anyone. Yeah sure, lets just throw away a perfectly good shampooer that can be repaired with $10 in parts and buy some gigantic $600 commercial extractor (which is just a rebadged Rug Doctor) just because some influencer or whoever tells you to. That ain't how life works, chief. Maybe it works for them, but that doesn't mean everyone else wants it. I know I personally would never want that monstrosity. I have my ProHeat Pet I got on clearance about 8 years ago for $79 and its been the best shampooer I ever had.

I was trying to talk to 2011hoover700. You had no reason to get involved. You're not my father, you can't tell me what to do.

Did you get your machine put back together? If not, can you take another pic with the cleaner laid flat with handle down and stand a little further back when taking pic so I can get a better view of what you're having problems with?

If you got it back together already then congratulations!
