I came across a picture online of this weird, water filter Lindhaus HF6, called the WF6. Has anyone ever come across one of these? If so, how well do they work? There's only two pictures I could find, so it must be pretty rare.

Here's a press release page for the WF6. Think I read somewhere that these water-filtration models were only released in Europe.

I'm actually getting an HF6 this week, and I'm a little curious if it could be modded into a WF6 (not that I'd actually risk doing that).

You probably could

Doesn't look that hard to turn an HF6 into a WF6, as long as you have a 3d printer... I doubt you could find any parts for this machine anywhere, outside of maybe a thrift store in Europe, or calling Lindhaus directly. I think older HF6's had the same pre motor filter setup, (minus the float valve) so that could probably be done too. Not that anyone ever would, but, it'd be cool to take a junked out HF6 and see if anyone could.

Thanks for the brochure and old archive page! Had no idea you could find those!

I can't begin to imagine washing the dog hair from three huge dogs out of the big bucket. You'd have to wash it in the bathtub. Nasty.

No don't do that, the HF6's motor is not intended for wet pickup.

Oh trust me, I never would——just got thinking about possibilities. Wet rated or not, you can always modify a machine. That doesn't mean you should though. We all know curiosity killed the cat!
