I wonder...what if Sanitaire could sell their own version of the Amway Cleartrak? |

The Amway Cleartrak is currently produced in Michigan by a company known as WMJ Refurbish as the Workhorse Cyclonic. They even use all of the same tooling Amway used to!
Here's the website for the Workhorse: CLICK HERE TO GO TO Lotsofkirbys's LINK |

The Amway ClearTrak was designed by Bissell as a copy of the Cyclon, the first Dyson upright that he produced in very small amounts and sold through door-to-door salesmen in England. I have one - the Dyson Cyclon that is. Bissell definitely beefed it up but did not design certain aspects (like the shroud) that make the machine work correctly. As such, the Amway really loads its filters, like a Shark does. Since Bissell only had Dyson's original patents, and not the improvements (like the shroud) the Amway never worked correctly.

I have one and I honestly think it's one of the best bagless uprights ever made if not the best one that's on the market right now since Bissell sold the designs, tooling, and moldings to WMJ Refurbish and rebrand it as the Workhorse Cyclonic. Very durable, reliable, and simple. Also I'm really amazed by how well it actually cleans. And honestly, it's cyclone actually works for me. The filters really don't get that dirty unless you overfill the dirt bin, same goes for Dyson or any other cyclonic bagless cleaner.
If Bissell wanted to sell their own ClearTrak or Workhorse upright, they would've just bought everything back from WMJ Refurbish. But instead they bought Sanitaire. And why would they make one where you can get a Sanitaire Quiet Clean Force bagless that works just as well but alot cheaper and better filtering than the ClearTrak? |
