Here’s my latest toy , a 1926? Graybar model 30.
I picked this up for a steal of a price, was in great condition for the year, I don’t think it was used more than a hand full of times, it even came with the furniture nozzle attachment and the original storage bag. I gave it a good go over and a polish now runs like new. I have looked for information on this hand vac but can’t seem to find any except the 1930,s model 50. Does anybody have any ideas on where one could find out more on this model? If anyone has any Graybar vacuums please share pics of them , I find they are very hard to find and would like to see some if they are out there? |

Graybar was a private label of the Electric Vacuum Cleaner Company which also made General Electric and Premier along with many myriads of other brands for different retailers. All based on the same basic design. I've seen AMC hand vacs with the identical handle as you have on yours. Graybar (as a brand name) also had an upright vac in their lineup, in the late 1920's. Congrats on an interesting hand vac with a rare nameplate.
