This I know...

There have been lists posted of the known years of manufacture of most of the major brands. It can be a challenge getting complete lists from the manufactures if any

for various reasons, one being that most brands have been bought by another company who like many don't even acknowledge anything made before they acquired the brand.

In many cases I believe some of the collectors here and elsewhere have better knowledge of these companies and their model offerings over the years than the

companies themselves. So if nothing else, either check the archives here or wait
for someone to post a link to a specific list in the archives. I wish I could help

you further. No doubt the right person(s) here will guide you as soon as they see your post. Keep in mind that there are also rebranded vacs. made for department stores or hardware/home improvement and even other competing companies will make models for each other. Also vacuums made in other countries will have different model #'s for same company. So there's cross referencing if that's the case.

Compiling these exhaustive lists is truly a labor of love and I appreciate the people who do these for the benefit of all who use them. Thank you!

It is great, yes.

Tom Anderson has the complete Hoover line.

I believe Bill Edstrom would probably have one of  the most concise lists of all things Kirby. He keeps meticulous notes on things.
