Is it possible to make a Junior 1334 top fill?

You will have to use a different outer bag. I'm not really familiar with Junior units. Is yours a shakeout bag or a bottom fill? Perhaps some UK collectors can elaborate.

Hello.

I would check ebay. I would think a U1012 top fill would work. You could cut to the desired length and possibly fit inside the original bottom fill tube on yours.

I managed to convert my post war junior 375 to use paper bags. Works great.

Yes, it is possible - I did that once to a 1334 Junior. It made bag changes much easier and cleaner. I was always a bit surprised that Hoover took so long to realise the benefits of top fill.

I used the bag fill/support tubes and cloth outer bag from a U1104 Junior.

The 1334 bag suspension spring was too long for the set-up. I used a loop of string or twine, an inch or two long. I suppose a Turbopower Softbag bag suspension spring might do.
