I love my C3….my only complaint is that I prefer to have two large regular wheels at the rear which can more easily roll over the cord on a bare floor. The little swivel wheels are too small to roll over the card on a bare floor - I am constantly going back to lift the canister off the ground to get it unstuck from the cord on the floor…very frustrating. I never need to move my canister sideways so the swivel wheels on the rear are unnecessary, in my opinion. Much prefer the large diameter wheels Miele has on their new compact bagless canister…I think it’s called the Boost.

I'm sure they're working to develop a successor version of the C3. But in order for it to happen, the newer variant needs to be overall better than the C3.
If I want a new bagged model from Miele, it'd be another upright. I think it was a mistake for Miele getting rid of their S7/U1 uprights without having a successor version. Upright vacuums are very popular over here in the US and it wouldn't surprise me if some of their sales tanked because of it. |
