I know the Korean Bissells were made by Samsung from 2000-2015. Why did the partnership end? Was it because Samsung no longer makes good products these days, such as the Galaxy Note 7 because it blew up like if it was a terrorist in your pocket?

I wanna know.

The design patents expire after 15 years, the time when Samsung made vacuums for Bissell under contract. Bissell most likely thought that it was cheaper to just manufacture vacuums themselves or from other Chinese companies after the relationship ended. I seriously doubt that it had ever to do with Samsung making bad products nowadays. Heck I even own a Galaxy S8 and I've never had any problems with it. I also own their computer monitor screen which has been working flawlessly. And we even did considered buying a Samsung washer & dryer and their stove before we went over to LG since they were recommended to us by our local appliance technician.

You're not wrong, anything can change in 15 years.

If Samsung and Bissell began their partnership in 2000, what was their very first product they sold together that year?
