My dad got this for me at the thrift store and I can already tell it needs restoring. The brush roll is hard to spin so I think it needs brush roll bearings and the belt is hitting against something and it smells bad. The bottom wire wrap around grip is coming off, the on/off switch is so flimsy even if you nudge it, it will still turn on. But other than that I'm gonna take it to the shop this Sunday. So if anyone got any info on this machine let me know.

Looks like a "parts bin" special. Might have started out as being a bagless machine and was adapted to be bagged just to use up extra supplies for a small production run. Maybe sold through discount shopping channels or something. I've never seen one of these before, and with that tiny bin I don't think you could do much cleaning with it without having to empty the bin (replace the bag?) several times.

I knew it looked like a bagless vac, that is exactly what they did. They converted it into a bagged model by repainting the cup and redesigning the chamber and taking away the brush accessory.

They also painted it yellow and renamed it the "Maxima".
