Here is a video to show that bagged Bissells are better than Bagless. Not trying to offend anyone but just want you to tell me what you learn in this video.

The video is too dark to watch and the sound is too soft to hear but it's not a news flash that older, bagged machines are generally superior to their newer, bagless, plasticrap counterparts. The former are designed to be serviced, repaired and maintained almost indefinitely, while the latter are intended to be (ab)used for a couple of years and then tossed and replaced in a viciously wasteful cycle.

Well technically there are still bagged Bissells that you can buy brand new today on the market. You have the Bissell Big Green Commercial line and you also have Sanitaire which is owned by Bissell. Not all Bissells today are bagless. Also I will say this, some of the Bissells like the Big Green Commercial line, they're one of the best Bissells ever sold if not one of the best vacuums ever. In fact I just recently bought this Bissell canister cause I don't think you could ever find a brand new canister that's just as good as this for the price range. If you had either the BG1000 or the BGUPRO14T against all of your other Bissells in the paper pickup test, they would do the best job.

I'm aware of both of those models, I've said that in my video(s). And I used to sell the blue Perfect version.

I've never seen! :)

Seriously, it was too dark. I wouldn't mind seeing a re-do with more lighting.

Eureka also had great vacuums of the same vintage.

I think the early bagless vacuums started costing way too much R&D to make so then they started cheapening them and then they lost their effectiveness. Then Dyson swooped in and obliterated the market.

1999-2001 seems to have been a good period for bagless vacs.
