I was reminded by that other Eureka thread that I've been putting off making a nozzle latch for my model 10. Having the day off (mostly), I decided to go ahead and design and print one.
Of course, only now did I realize that my other, junky model 10 has a little steel plate behind the nozzle latch, and I forgot all about it. However, the one without it has no witness marks of it ever having been there. Maybe some of these had different latch designs? I know the model 9 is different because the face of the fan case is shaped differently. And there are other differences between my two model 10s. Anyway, it seems to work. The first iteration was a little delicate and broke easily. 100% infill seems to have fixed that. I might make some tweaks still, like making the grabby bit thicker. Not sure. Having issues with thingiverse, I'll upload the file later. |

Thingiverse is still kind of broken. I had to manually enter the url accounts.makerbot.com/logout... and attempt to login again, and repeat that twice before it finally logged me in.
Anyway, here's the link. CLICK HERE TO GO TO MadMan's LINK |
