Found this machine at the Sew&vac place-Greenville Vacuum&sewing. Its abasic canister vacuum-10A motor.Uses a 2 gal Filtrete type bag and has a HEPA motor filter. The bag wraps around the motor like the Hoover Celebrity. The main body is stainless steel. The lid contains one filter. The vacuum comes with a dust brush, crevice tool, wand, and a combo floor tool.Simplicity markets this as a commercial vacuum.IE a maids vacuum.Kinda like this simple, bare bones machine!Got it a few days ago.If you need a sturdy bare bones canister this is a good one.The motor is also variable speed.

I wonder if this is a rebadge or if it's a product they're making it resembles a few other machines like the Nilfisk GD930 and the Sanitaire SC3700A

Seems to be a very similar knock-off…

The GD930 has different side clamps holding the lid and the contour of the frame over the rear wheels is shaped differently. Also, consider that this comes from Tacony, who would rather find a “copycat” manufacturer in China than embark upon a license agreement with the current patent holder. I’m not knocking it and I do love my Tacony upright, but there’s plenty of subtle differences between these two canisters.

I'd love to see a long-term review of this. The Hoover Celebrity bag setup is interesting. I haven't used a Celebrity in a while but I remember the dust likes to clump up near the front fold of the bag and not so evenly across all three. Numatic and others don't use those bags in their canisters, so I wonder why Tacony (or whoever builds it) decided to go that route.

It's an off the shelf Chinese knock off. They saw the success of the Henry and wanted a copy. It isn't a new product for Tacony, it's been labeled as a Powr Flite for years. Another Tacony product with no actual engineering thought involved as to today's consumers.

Alex thank you for sharing that video. It was quite dissapointing to see that it's airflow was pretty poor. Pulling about a 3.5/10 on the baird guage or about 72 cfm at the hose end. There are definitely some better tub style vacs out there.
