I am looking for a robot vacuum that I can use for multiple floors of my home. I am thinking of getting the robot to clean one floor, then manually carry the robot to another floor to clean the next floor.

I have a few questions:
1) Would manually moving the robot vacuum between floors disrupt the robot's mapping of my home and no-go zones?
2) What sort of robot vacuum keywords/features would I be looking for?
3) Any recommendations for a robot vacuum that can be used for multiple floors of a home?

I’m still fairly new to my Roomba S9 and Braava Jet. They are nice ,but my cat terrorized them so I don’t use them as much as I’d like. Anyways, yes I can learn multiples maps, it does take several times for it to learn. The best way would probably be to let it learn one area completely then you can start a completely new job, it should be able to figure it out. If you have a large house it may struggle though, most are designed to go back to the base if it needs to charge in the middle of a cleaning cycle. It would need to do the secondary areas on one battery. My S9 will also go back to the base in the middle of the cleaning cycle if it determines it needs emptied.

and how is this different from just using a normal vacuum cleaner?

I would suggest

I would suggest you check out the bots made by Roborock. They are excellent, and many of them support mapping for more than one floor. In my opinion Roborock is the best robot brand available right now.
