Another one off the bucket list! A big thanks to Jimmy Martin on this one, I never thought I'd find one. Yes, he does ship certain things.

It is rusty, but is in quite good shape underneath. Needs a bag, and I have a handle stick out of frame that will be added when it is finished. I thought this used the same cast handle grip as the Apex like it showed in the ads, but it is the plated steel one also used on the model C. The internals are in quite good shape, and should run with some cleaning, oiling, and a new wire. I'll update this thread as I restore it!

Boom!

Took a lot of sandblasting and wire wheeling, but here it is! Now it just needs a new front gasket and a bag. As far as I know I am the only person to have one other than the Grand Rapids Public Museum.

Excellent piece!
I like the way the handle pivots over the wheel frame, quite a quirky design.
The loss of plating is unfortunate, but a drop in the pond compared to having one of two known examples. Still, if one had the means, it would be more than worthy of replating, in order to further preserve it.
Congrats on such a rare acquisition!

Nice! Always feels good when you end up finding something that not even a museum has, or nobody else even owns.
