Hello, I just picked these up recently for pretty cheap and need help to identify the models. I knownthey are 500 series machines and the one that came with the large head is older. Also the other one looks like a 505 but does not say 505 and came with a head and same style belt liter as the more complete one. The one with the handle has the switch in the handle but it has a Crack and the wires are torn inside and I was wondering if that can be fixed or what. Also I need a base plate for the larger head it seems to be missing. Any help with models or help with repairing would be great thanks.

Gary,

I believe you have the super-rare Kirby Model 2R ("R" for "retail sale"), from about 1939.

Gary,

I think the model with the toggle switch on the motor is a 2C going by the skinny Emtor.
