I know this is a longshot, but does anyone here have or know of where I can obtain a belt cap for an American Lincoln Super Sweep? Would the one from a Royal fit? |

I didn't buy it. I was just curious in case I ever came across one at a better price. |

Does anybody happen to have any vintage parts lists for the Super Sweep?
I have part of the list for the 1979-82 version (serial no. 210001 and up; meaning the blue and white version), that I took from pictures of Mike Rogers' (Henry Company) collection when it was on eBay three years ago that I tried to bid for but lost out on and thus still hope to find. As to your version, the original 2-wire cord and bag topper was emerald green in color like most of the rest of the machine. The front wheels on your machine were all black originally, they being double narrows and using the same extended screw that was present on the very early Classic 1CRs with this older front axle. ~Ben |

It's been so long, I can't remember what I ordered. To Ben: I did not buy the Lincoln. If it was under $100, I would have considered it. Just didn't know if anybody figured out a solution to the belt caps or had one laying around. |
