Hello, and thanks for letting me join. I have recently been given an Electrolux C151D vacuum that didn't work. I have it opened and have found all the wires disconnected. Would anyone be able to send a wiring diagram or a picture of how the machine is wired? I think this will be a very good vacuum if I can get it running. Thanks very much in advance for any assistance.`

Hello cam, and welcome!

I would like to be the first to give you a warm welcome to Vacuumland! Sorry, I do not have a wiring diagram for your vacuum, but this forum is a happening place, and I'm sure someone will help you very soon.

 

I wanted to post this because I also have a C151D. It's solidly built and performs very well, and I like mine a lot. I believe you will be pleased with yours when you have it working.

 

As an aside, I recommend you investigate using Clean Obsessed (CO) HEPA bags. They are highly thought of in this forum, and I just took delivery of the style that will fit my Tristar canister vacuum. If I like them as much as I think I will, I will follow dysonman1's lead and use the CO bags in all of my Aerus/E'lux vacuums. Amazon and probably many other retailers sell these bags; the Amazon link is below.

2100 & 1623 Wiring Diagram from evacuumstore.com

 If cam no longer needs the 2100 diagram, I'm sure others will. The 1623 diagram is also included.

Electrolux Corporation's/Electrolux Canada's 'Hi-Tech 2100', based on Electrolux Canada's E-2000 from 1982-1985, was launched in the U.S. and Canada 40 years ago this year. Its Lexan body styling and electronic System Performance Indicator panel were two features that set it apart from the metal body tanks. It also reintroduced the after-filter to American consumers which had been discontinued in the mid-1950s when the 4-ply filter bags came out.

The similarly-styled non-automatic L-E Model 1623 is based on the Canadian E-Special, manufactured from 1982-1985.

Both tanks are still manufactured today by Aerus as the automatic 'Lux Legacy' (with the added tool tray) and non-automatic 'Lux Classic'. Over the years, many design and color variations—marked by different model numbers and model names—have been produced but are very similar in wiring and parts. So, this will be applicable to most if not all Aerus/Electrolux plastic-bodied tanks manufactured in the last 4 decades.
