Help! I took apart the wiring on my Royal. I didn’t mark which wires went where. Can anyone assist? Why are there three wires coming from the motor?

Does one of the wires coming out of the motor have green paint on it? If so that should be grounded to the body of the motor casing, black wires are your common and white wires are neutral
