Does anyone have any info on this guy? From what I've gathered through the archives this was a Canadian model sold in the US for a short time in the 80s, but that's all I'm able to find on it.

Unfortunately most of the scrub brushes are worn and will no longer clip in correctly, and I'm also thinking the o-rings are worn (causing the brushes to fall out). Are replacements still available for these? It doesn't look like the newer Floor Pro brushes would fit on this one. I'd like to put this into use!

I am gonna guess, going on the colors it was made in, that that polisher was sold when the Electrolux E2000 was sold in Cabada. So from 1982 to 1984.

That design was around for a LONG TIME! Was introduced in the 60s along with the 86 and 88, and I believe most likely till Electrolux Canada merged with Electrolux USA. Then would have been dropped in favor of the current Floor Pro. Contact a few Canadian dealers, they will for sure have parts for this.

Electrolux from Canada

The US first got the 2100 plastic body canister from Canada in 1985.Later the 3 brush shampooer/polisher.It may have worked well in Canada but these had many problems in US.As above brushes could wear and fall off or not rotate due to both worn brush hub as well as inner plastic gears having teeth worn off from motor shaft that drove them. Also shampoo tank difficult to insert/remove as well as failure of contact rings in cordwinder.A later model wound cord on 2 hooks. These were never as good as B-8 and later Floor Pro even though 3 brushes were better than any of the 2 brush brands.
I may have a very few brushes or parts and at least 1 machine that needs to go in a spring clean out.Probably not working properly.I also have B-8s that were best ever shampoo/polisher but not sure how many brush sets for them.

Interesting

As an avid Electrolux fan I’ve never seen one of these. Perhaps the rubber o rings can be obtained at a hardware store or amazon? There are numerous different sizes you just need exactly the right one hence a hardware store will be best so you can compare or try.

Coloring matches the US 1988-89 US Marquise series so if that machine was sold in the US it would have likely been during those years. That “dusty rose” and light beige coloring was in for home decor then as my Mom redecorated her master bedroom and formals those years and used that same coloring theme.

Hey!
I just bought one these last week for $14.95 at the Goodwill. Mine is a bluish green color. Mine is made in Canada and says 2101 where yours says Widetrack. I asked around, but was told parts were discontinued (at least in the mainstream). I got the carpet shampoo brushes and the nap lifters, but no tray and no hard floor brushes -- still on the lookout for those. Works good otherwise.

A brush fits into the socket 4 different ways. Try turning it 1/4 turn and see if it sticks in better, or rearrange the 3 brushes.

You might want to clean up the top of the brushes where the connectors are, and spray a light coat of clear plastidip over the connectors to build them back up.

Your 2101 shampooer-polisher is taupe and light sand gray and manufactured in those colors from 1987-88. The color line during that period included the Marquise 1521 metal tank cleaner, the 2100 automatic tank, the Canadian-exclusive System 90 automatic tank, & the 1623 Limited-Edition non-automatic tank - all factory-paired with the PN6A power nozzle, the CB2000 commercial canister, and the US-designed 1522 Floor Beautifier.

The jade & light sand gray version was sold from 1985-87, and the 2101A store & show versions, Special Edition & Regency Series were sold concurrently.

Jimmy's great to work with, so I'd check with him first. Hope you get your brushes.
