I saw a round metal type vacuum at Habitat. It was similar in shape to Filter Queen and it had a black power nozzle that I THINK said "Filter Pure" on it. But I can't find anything on that company. Anyone know what it could be? I should have taken a photo. I'm not sure on the name but it almost seemed like a knockoff of Filter Queen, whatever it was.

Black, filter queen shaped, filter something. Could it be a Watermatic/Filter Magic?

They're more like a fairfax really. There's a flat cloth filter that went over the chamber which is the "filter magic" filter. You can choose to use it with disposable paper filters too. I had one of the 2008 "special edition" models a few years ago which used a flow thru motor and had a two speed switch, I think the models before it were all single speed with a peripheral bypass motor. Of course I could be wrong.

The EnviroTect is a direct copy of a Filter Queen. Maybe it was one of these?
