I picked this up at the Habitat Restore in Amarillo for $10 about a year ago. I had found a NOS hose that would fit this vacuum and I am still on the search for a power button cover with no luck so far. I hope to find some attachments as the ones I ordered off of eBay were off of a Powerline and the seller had canceled my order. I have a set of generic black wands and a Nutone Bare floor brush I intend on using with this. I may later search for a floor tool off of a Mighty Mite to use with it, but it needs to be gone through and cleaned up before I can use it. I also purchased a Eureka Turbo-Matic Turbo Nozzle that I might use with this thing. I'm glad to have found what I've found so far on this thing and I can't wait to begin giving it the love it needs.

Aero

Wasn't this a Sears only version?

I do remember seeing the full Eureka Aero line-up at Sears in Michigan in 1991 or 1992. It looks like a rounded version of the Eureka Rally, though I always preferred the top-side cord rewind port on the Rally. Less bending required….

It’s all cleaned up now! I’ve still got some parts to hunt for but I’m happy with how it turned out so far!

Love the sleek lines!!!! If I see any Eureka tools on Ebay, I’ll post the link here.

Wonder if there is an electrical outlet at the hose port for an electrified power nozzle hose. Maybe this was a suction only version….can we see the ratings plate with the model number?

Thanks! I’ll get those ordered! I’ll get a picture of the rating plate when I get home. This is a suction only model and it does have the blank where the outlet for the power nozzle would have gone. It’ll still make a nice companion to my Convertibles, Elite, Classic Omega and my F&G uprights since I usually use my Handivac, Sprint or Oreck Buster B to do the hose cleaning needs when I use this machines

Thanks Vacuumman…usually when a Eureka cleaner has a low number as the last two digits in the model number, it is a more basic model in the line-up. It makes sense that a Model 6710 would be the most basic of models with no CordAway cord rewinder and no power nozzle. I imagine the more deluxe models would have been 6720, 6730, 6740 and so on.

I really like the way the large rear wheels are protected by a part of the canister body. On the World Vac series of canisters - which debuted right after the Aero line up - Eureka put these large ball shaped wheels that had a tendency to scrape baseboards and get marred really badly.
