Please email me. You bounced a check for $22, which I would understand, had you told me to cash during a certain period or something to that effect. On top of that, the bank charged me an extra $12 in fees.

Check.

I am not, and never was a deadbeat.

There was no reason for your bank not to cash that check. I just withdrew money from that account, proving there is money to cover it.

Caligula.

Let me say this again, Caligula was the cream colored cat that's used as my avatar.

Caligula in Latin means little boots, and this cat was named for the orange markings on his front paws.

He was the only mascot the Vacuum Cleaner Collector's Club ever had, so I decided to go with that as my username.

Alex Taber.

Caligula

Hi Alex, this is off-topic but I have four cats and I think your Vacuumland handle is great fun.

You know, in general, on the internet, people refer to one another by their handle / username. Not their irl name. If you prefer people call you Alex, maybe you should just say THAT instead of explaining why you named your cat after a Roman emperor with small feet every single time somebody calls you by your handle - which is a perfectly normal thing to do.

MadMan

....again, you are so funny! You offer such practical information. It's like you apply logic to your actions.

Maybe you ought to look at yourself in the mirror. Did you REALLY need to make a sarcastic, negative comment like that? Madman's comment was perfectly valid, and I agree with him....many people on online forums do prefer to go by their username.

Madman - Agreed. But, nowhere has Alex said he prefers to go by his first name here. All he has done is state why he chose Caligula for his username. Assuming a bit much here, aren't we?

And by the way boys, last time I checked this was Hoover300's thread! Really nice of BOTH of you to start drama on a user's thread where he's trying to get ahold of another user with a valid concern.

"All he has done is state why he chose Caligula for his username."

Yes, he recites the same line verbatim on every post where it comes up. That's what MadMan is referring to.
--------------------------
"Really nice of BOTH of you to start drama on a user's thread "

As did you, Kirbylux77.
----------------------------
" a user's thread where he's trying to get ahold of another user with a valid concern. "

If you want to do that, Hoover300 should have just eMailed him instead. Both of them have visible eMail addresses. There was no need to post this nonsense as a forum topic, unless the goal was to slander and name and shame Caligula. I have no idea why people love doing that on this forum. Absolutely nowhere else on any other hobby forum have I seen users attack each other and deliberately try and cause drama in public when all they have to do is send an eMail. Maybe it's the lack of moderation on this forum, I don't know. Posts like this should be deleted immediately after they are posted.

Guess I should update this

I emailed him, and did not hear a response until after I posted this(and telling him, that if he did not respond within a reasonable time frame, that I would). The issue is being resolved.

This really should have been handled through email. His email address is right in his profile, there was no reason to start this thread of nonsense on here.

Rob,

I was not being sarcastic. Sorry you took it that way.
