Finally added one of the vacuums of my childhood to my collection the Fantom Thunder. I’ve found some replacement Fantom belts, but are there any other belts that would work? I’ve looked around and haven’t found much. Seems like yesterday the Fantom infomercials were on all the time.

It's been 21 years since the Fantom Company went out of business. Hoover Dial A Matic belts will work, but those are even more old and obsolete.

Dirt Devil style 4/5 belts work for the Fantom Fury. I imagine they would work just as well on the Thunder.

I think Arm & Hammer was selling Fantom belts at Walmart and similar as late as 2011.

Thanks, I ordered soak of the Dirt Devil 4/5s. Just got it all back together after a good cleaning. Not the worst vacuum I’ve taken apart but for sure not the easiest. Makes you nervous especially if you break something, good luck finding a replacement.
