That is very cool and in decent shape for its age. Though I can’t justify paying $1200 for it. If it were fully restored, possibly. But I’ve already gone down that road before, and have no intention of doing it again. Hopefully it finds a good home with a collector who’ll give it some love and make it look great again. But first there has to be someone willing to pay that amount.

Yeah it's in great shape and looks to be all original, assuming the clockwork windings are all OK and not broken. Price is definitely too high. If it was fully restored and it was a museum looking for it maybe it might sell for that amount, but as is, deffo too high. Seller is not a collector either. All their listings are vintage glassware and knickknacks.

The seller

Probably did a decent amount of research and saw that collectors tend to sell these for this price. Hence why a non collector has listed it this high.

I’ve sold two for $450 and $600 and both were “like new”

Kyle,

You had them listed for a much higher price if I remember correctly. I guess I should have made an offer I would love to have one in my collection, and your work is amazing.

Jim
