Here is my Canadian built Hoover Model 619A that I picked up for $50 in a local vacuum shop. There are some minor holes in the top of the bag, and its missing the hose. It runs nice.

Yes indeed!

We had the US version of this model when I was growing up. Great machine. Bags and belts were all it ever needed over the years. I wasn't collecting nor was I living at home when my parents moved down to Hemet,Ca.but I don't think the Hoover made the cut when they moved as they bought new everything and sold the house furnished right down to the silverware! Good solid machine, congrats on your purchase.

Nice find there! Looks like it is the Canadian version of the model 63, which is one of my favorites. Here's a pic of mine. I do have the hose, although it isn't in the pic.
