I've had 1 of these sitting waiting for the float assembly to turn up some day. It's been 15 years now and over the weekend I dug out a bunch of stuff I was getting ready to strip and toss. I pulled the bug green out and left it where it was easy to get to. I decided to test it without the float just to see if it even worked. Never had time but 2 days later I see 1 at a thrift store, it looked like it had tape on the cover and I saw no extras. I kind of walked past it and saw it wasn't tape but rather the original plastic covering to protect it from rubbing in the box! I removed the cover and the hose was inside and the entire inside looked new, there also was an unopened bag that had the hose/water line clips. I had all the rest of the missing parts at home so I checked out the price (expecting to see a $30 tag) and had to look twice to be sure it was under $10! Not really sure what it's worth since it's never been used? These were probably the best in the series since Bissells best known for making a good first issue then repeatedly finding ways to cut corners till it's worthless. Then charge more too, but people still buy them. I hear people say that they got rid of their old working model figuring a new one would work better only to find that the new one is junk? Makes me wonder what they're thinking when this has been the case for everything but a few cars and select TVs.

Love this machine

My aunt got one of these from new. I always remember cleaning with it! We still have it and original box but don’t use it as much due to us having newer models that have scrubbing brushes etc. I will always have a place in my heart for this machine.

Nice find. I remember seeing those in catalogs as a kid, and have seen a few in thrift stores. I saw the tank part to one in my neighborhood on the curb but no motor/pump unit to it.

Lately I've been seeing a bunch of Green clean machines pop up, but glad to see this being in the right hands instead of some careless consumer who would not take care of this machine.

I remember when…

These were first marketed and the lady who did the ads was an actress I think. I’m sure I can find an ad on the youtube!

Little Green...

That's a great find for sure. Last summer, I picked up a Little Green Machine in its original box for $12. It appears to be complete with paperwork and everything and has its original starter bottle of cleaning solution, plus another one, both unopened. The only thing that seems to be missing is the little bristle brush attachment that goes on the end of the nozzle. Knowing my luck, replacing that one part will end up costing more than I paid for the whole machine.
