My dogs constantly bring in grass from the yard so I’m having to clean two sizable rooms daily or at a minimum every other day. Annoyed with pulling out my Electrolux canister or the Shark rocket corded that often. Want something lighter and easier and cordless. Hence thinking some sort of cordless stick vac would be convenient. Just don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on this either. Right now a broom and dustpan seem to do the job but I hate sweeping and have herniated discs so bending down to pick up the dustpan isn’t something that’s easy for me and then of course there’s always that trail of fine dust that you just can’t get up from in front of that rubber strip on the dustpan…and then the trip to the trash can with the dustpan! So that’s why I’m considering. Something suction based with no cord. Fast, quick and relatively thorough for the hard floors. My next door neighbor has anHoover lynx. Not sure they are any good. I think the batteries can go out then there’s the filter clogging issue. Any suggestions? I thought about a robotic but that won’t work with the dogs. One tries to eat anything I put on the floor so I have to put him in the other room while I clean wirh anything including the broom so I can only imagine the ruckous he would make while a robotic vac did its job either trying to eat it, bark at it…or scratch the hell out of the door of the room I’d have to trap him in while it runs. I can entice him to be out in the yard for a few minutes peaceably while I quickly run around with the broom.

I would recommend looking into the Hoover Linx.
