On the old f and g uprights the hose attached to the top of the hood. Where was the rug adjuster?

To adjust the older 260 series of Eureka Automatic uprights for high or low carpeting, you had two settings on the axle of the rear wheels. You had to turn the cleaner over and turn the axle to the setting you wanted.

After the arrival of the Rugulator and Dial-a-Nap features, there was often one basic, low end model at the start of the line up (Model 1402 or 1401), that offered no way of adjusting the height at all.
