Aren't there wand adapters so I can use generic floor tools / accessories for this model? There is SOME kind of short adapter but apparently it was used for: a BEDBUG SPRAYER accessory! WTF. Another extremely dumb marketing decision made! This just sucks.

It's a liquid sprayer. Electrolux (the maker of your cleaner) has sold them since the early 1930's. You could use it for bedbugs, I guess. I paint wicker furniture with mine. The adapter goes into the lower wand and allows you to use 1 1/4 inch attachments.

Matthew, if you want a longer adapter, you can use the adapter that comes with the Aerus Guardian Platinum. The hose handle and wands are identical to the TriStar CS.

? Mystery here with this adapter

I have this A101 adapter and it does NOT fit 1-1/4" wands or generic tools. It is slightly too large! Anybody else seeing this?
