a few aussie vacuum ads the hoover convertible known as the senior in the UK, an AWA (1977) (australian wireless association) ad and the PYE range (1973) cheers mike | ||

Those "dust cassette" vacuums look very similar to many Japanese bagless vacs of the era (National Panasonic, Sanyo, Toshiba, etc). The electrified hose with the on/off switch on the handle is a dead giveaway. Therefore, I really think these were made in Japan...any Australians here who can shed some light on these cleaners?
