So , question guys, I bought an air fryer for the boyfriend as he loves mozzarella sticks. Turns out I'm using it for things also! Does anyone else use one for cooking other things maybe I haven't thought of, just curious. Thanks!

I've had both styles - the counter-top oven style and the 'pull-out' basket style. The pull out style is easier because the whole cooking pot goes into the dishwasher. I make sausage, bacon, and any pork in it as it comes out perfectly. Chicken also comes out great. Just use a home made rub and you'll be fine.

I initially bought a very small two and a half quart snack size model, thinking it would only be for him and upgraded to a six quart both with a pull-out basket style. Sadly no dishwasher here, 1940s cottage with a wall mounted faucet and a single midsize sink. Thanks for the input I will definitely be trying things out in the larger model.

My uncle and my cousin swear by them. They put all sorts of things in them. I don't have one. Perhaps some day I'll procure one. Now,some ovens come with that feature already in them. Some like them from a health aspect.

I have one, love it.

I got a 6qt Instant Vortex for Christmas from my mother last year. Love it. I roast veggies, frozen hash brown patties, pork loins, bacon, potatoes, salmon, fried pickles, meatballs.

I have a Breville convection toaster oven that I also love, but the Vortex takes about 1/3 the time of the Breville. I admittedly rarely use my Samsung range- most of my cooking is done in counter top appliances these days.
