Found an old floor polisher at the local metal-refuse yard, it turned out to be an Electrolux model b-6. Some looking online showed it may have been designed by mr. Loewy or his design team around 1946 or so. The machine pictured is not the one I have, mine is the same but not as nice…does anyone still use such a thing? It lurks in a corner of my shop for now, the cord has disintegrated too much to try to run it.

B-6

These seem to have started as a B-3 in 20s or 30s with very little change until B-7 of late 50s.Viking from Electrolux of Europe sold this type with shampoo parts added in US in 80s.I had assumed this was a European design but would welcome any information.I recall seeing a design book showing the B-7 style done by a European designer.
