The reason is that I am considering purchasing a replacement handle/hose for a 15 years old C3.1 (see my previous post)
I already have a new telescopic wand I purchased about a year ago.
I will be getting a new handle/hose to replace the one with the broken wire.
my guess is that the next part to die will be the powerhead, which means that I'll get a new ET-2 powerhead.
but then, if the main motor dies on the C3.1, I will have all these new parts...
so it might make better sense economically to get a K2 and convert it to use the powerhead parts? (assuming that they will still be available for sale... since the handle/hose is only compatible between the C3.1 and the K3)
I assume that I will need the handle/hose and the telescopic wand to provide power for the powerhead
But what I am not sure about is replacing the hose connector on the body of the vacuum and pulling a power wire to it from the main board. I believe it is called "suction neck" for about $30.
another option will be to try and get just the entire body of the K3 (without the hose, wand, powerhead, attachments), anyone knows if they sell the entire body as a replacement part?
I also noticed that an E1 + ET-2 is about $200 cheaper than an E3 (but then my C3.1 handle/hose and wand won't fit it).
I wonder why they price the E3 so much more than the sum of the parts...
