While the wife's away, the vac's and I shall play.. something like that. Nice line up. Do you have a favorite from this group? |

Nice lineup indeed. Your Lux canisters are generally older than mine as my oldest are a pair of 1205s.
Funny thing about cats and vacuums. Mine are generally unperturbed by them, although they are typically wary of an unfamiliar one when it first comes into the house but after they've given it a good 'sniff-down', it quickly becomes just another part of the landscape--as long as it's not running. I had a cat a few years ago who was scared do death of the vacuum and would run and hide as soon as she heard it turn on and wouldn't come out until it had been shut off for an hour or two. The ones I have now are less fearful and will generally observe the proceedings from a discreet distance on the (somewhat rare) occasions that I run a vacuum. The calico, being more curious by nature, often likes to inspect what I'm doing up close when I'm working on one. As the photo below would suggest, she's actually sort of 'into' vacuums. The bag to my recently acquired Heritage 84 was of particular interest as it held just the faintest whiff of dog, even after laundering.

My wife returns tomorrow, so time to put 'em away. I kept the Silverado out because I'll clean again today. |

"Start the Air-Way" was their old slogan. Time for fall cleaning.
