The come up for sale very seldomly and when they do, they are gone before you can blink. The last one I tried to bid on I missed out by $1. Got bid sniped by someone with a bidding bot. That was Jan 18, 2021. Have not seen another surface since. There was one on eBay for several years with no brushroll nozzle on it and someone ended up buying that for the $100 it was listed for, even though they'd likely never find a nozzle for it anywhere.

Dwayne,
Another rare green giant of a vacuum cleaner I know you'd like to find would be the American Lincoln Super Sweep (in many ways similar to the Kirby 500 series), in two different shades of green: 1969-1972 - Irish green and white - Irish green housing parts; Irish green cord; white/green bag, handle grip, headlight bumper and nozzle bumpers. 1972-1979 - Avocado green and white - white 3-wire cord; avocado green handle grip, headlight bumper, nozzle bumper, wheels and (later) foot switch and handle lock button. ~Ben |
