My dad got this for free from Amazon Vine last week (normally $500). It is a cordless wet/dry vacuum that simultaneously vacuums and washes hard floors, very much like the Bissell CrossWave. I've never heard of this brand before.

Assembly was super easy; all I had to do was snap the handle into the top of the vacuum. The battery arrived 41% charged, and it takes 5 hours to charge.

The vacuum utilizes a two-tank system, which prevents dirty water from being put back onto the floor. Clean water goes into the upper tank, along with a capful of the included cleaning solution.

I've been using it a lot over this past week, on both the laminate downstairs and vinyl floors in the upstairs bathrooms and laundry room, and it's a pretty impressive machine! It picks up both wet and dry debris, while washing the floor at the same time. The brushroll looks like a paint roller, and it does a great job of cleaning, leaving the floor just slightly damp. While the brushroll doesn't spin super fast, it creates a self-propelled effect on the floor. And the motor is nice and quiet.

The vacuum has fingertip controls on the handle for power, mode selection and self-cleaning. The vacuum generally works in "Auto mode," which boosts power depending on how soiled the floor is. It can also be put into a "water absorption mode" for vacuuming up liquids. Those are the only two modes available on this machine. The self-cleaning function is activated by a button on the handle, but only while the vacuum is charging and the battery charge is above 10%.

The vacuum features an LCD status monitor on top to communicate its status (battery percentage, refill clean water tank, empty dirty water tank) to the user. There's an LED ring that changes color based on the current power level (green, orange or red). The vacuum also talks! The speaker emits a loud, female voice, which gets annoying fast. Fortunately, there's a way to turn down the volume and even turn off voice prompts, which I just found today.

Yesterday, I emptied the dirty water tank, and it was DISGUSTING, as in almost black! I had no idea my floors were THAT dirty; they looked clean to the naked eye! The dry debris got wet and stuck to the insides of the tank, so I had to rinse it all out.

When not in use, the vacuum rests on a charging base, which has a tray to catch any drips from the brushroll. Also included was a cleaning brush, extra brushroll and extra filter.

So far, I like this unit quite a bit. I've always wanted to try a machine that vacuums and washes floors, and this one does a great job at both.

In one of these pics, it was hard to get a good picture of the battery percentage indicator (it says 46%), but it looks much better in person.
