Other than the B being pressed steel and having a front mounted attachment port, were there any other differences between the Torrington models B and C?

Torrington

While I don't have answers yet to your question there is a book on the history of Torrington ball bearing company.I should be able to look at later.Vacs were a small part of their business.Reasons they got out of vacs include dishonest salesmen writing fictitious contracts, getting paid and never seen again. Also the death of an executive who ran the vac division.

The B and C varied in how the bag was mounted to the fan case.
