Just curious, does Aerus manufacture any of the machines it sells or has it outsourced all of those operations? I recall years ago reading that one of the Eureka plants was assembling Aerus (Electrolux) vacuum cleaners but am not sure what the company is doing now.
I see one of the current uprights is a rebadged Riccar/Simplicity machine, and their flagship canister is a Lux International product.

canisters are made in a couple of different places. I believe the Classic and Legacy canisters are assembled in Bristol, VA. The flagship Platinum canister is manufactured in the EU; Hungary precisely.
