Has anyone else had the chance to look at the newest hoover bagged vacuums? They make a blue t-series and a red Max Pet that both use their poorly thought out belt tensioner that's always been a bit if a problematic feature and has claimed many a belt over the years. The newest models have been redesigned and we all know that there has never been any improvements made when things get changed. It's always done to save money and it always ends up with a less stable and problematic cleaner until it's finally scraped for a completely different model.

In this case they took the bad idea and removed the metal parts! I mean it was already barely able to fit and function made out of metal but that's not the only thing they changed, they also made the cover out of thinner plastic and decided to mount it to 5he cover with only 2 mounting points! As it is ow on the 2 I have the tabs that they mount with are cracked and the machines are literally brand new. They could not keep the brushroll spinning once the vacuum was tilted back and ready to clean. The toll just stopped and the belt slipped but didn't burn up. I investigated it and put on a new belt and same results. My first thought was a bad spring, or slipped out if place. When I removed the cover I noticed it was tweaked like it was under pressure and twisted. Since they only have 2 mounting points the plastic frame and ears can't hold it in place properly and the cover can't support the pressure needed to push the tensioner tight on the belt. I put another spring inside the original spring after I stretched it out slightly but found that wasn't enough force on its own the design is awful they have no concern about it either. I have contacted Hoo er directly on the matter and they gave me the runaround! Kept asking me what model and what was they problem that needs service. This is after I explained in detail what is saw and what's happening to brand new vacuums they're making. I asked if they planned a recall? Then I checked to see if there was a class action suit started yet. I didn't see anything yet but I have requested it and haven't heard back yet. These people are now making garbage! This is reminiscent of Electrolux and their fall from grace after utilizing do many bad ideas.

I finally decided that the best way to get the message through was to post a few reviews about their new designs on their bagged vacuums that just came out. I saw 15 or so all shill reviews and could see that they would never publish anything bad on their site. That's just how crooked they are! Mr, Hoover SR would be turning in his grave if he knew how the company was operating now. A company that was built on making things that worked well and we're built to last a lifetime, was how Hoover did things, people trusted Hoover's for dependability and knowing that they paid a fair price for something that would provide many years of use. Nobody ever felt that they were being tricked or Hoo er was trying to make something purposely to fail after a certain amount of time passed. The new Hoover has joined the ranks of what's now become general business practice I which they make sure that their products never last more than a set time to keep sakes up while they burn through resources as fast as possible and never do any recycling ever! What's being done by big business will impact the entire world very soon. Those resources are not infinite and are already becoming hard to extract.

These little things like what Hokvers doing are backfiring on them because they lack the proper design techniques to hide these breaking points and get their timing lined up properly. You can't ha e things dail after 4 months and not draw suspicion and every one has the same problem? I really hate these companies that go out of their way and spend big $ to find ways to make there products break sooner! Rug doctor did it along time ago, Bissell has been doing it for many years now but they were smart enough to make the buyers pay extra to have that feature that would ultimately render their cleaners to be junk. Well they may have not even realized it and we're just making what they could without actually trying to scam but eventually saw it as a possibility on future drawings. Either way these companies have no competition that's any better than them so why change? That's where I think it's our responsibility to not buy from these huge wasters like Sony, I mean how many of the same things do they need to make every 6 months they put out entire new lines of the same shit and only change the front covers.

If nobody says anything they will continue to sabotage their products and with no competition your stuck buying more crap over and over.i myself will never suggest buying anything hoover makes ever again and I make sure to post what I find in places that matter so buyers have a chance to understand exactly how they are being fooled and know that it's a reality and not just a rumor or conspiracy. Most companies like Samsung have been doing this for so long now they have become experts at disguising their failures and never drawing big concern since they keep the time far enough away from the purchase date. Making it so the first owner will be the only owner but the failure will be timed when people normally want to upgrade anyway. I'm not saying they're better because of it, but rather they're even worse because they charge more and people buy more of their junk without ever suspecting anything.

Hoover is si.ply a prime example if a inept thief who hasn't done their homework or are lazy or not bright enough to figure it out and exposed themselves quickly. They really need to stop selling stuff and close shop, maybe they can find out where Electrolux is hanging out and stay with them on their couch for a while!
Don't ever let anyone buy any new hoover products!
