This is like an old-school Lux model, but if you want the classic design definitely look into the Perfect C-130 canister. You'll save a few hundred dollars and from what I've heard the suction motor might be a little stronger than the Aerus "Classic" model. I've used a few Perfect models are they are high-quality. The cheapest way to get your hands on one new is on the re-labeled Clean Obsessed CO763. About $550 new.
At the same time, it's not a genuine Aerus, and it would be fun to have the real thing. I'm just a cheapskate lol |

Is there a copy with a longer cord? I'm surprised they didn't make it a 25 or 30 ft cord. |

Another option you could consider if you wanted to stick with American, a Metrovac. The same company that's known for rebuilding older Electroluxs'. Take the Professional Evolution ADM4SNBF 2-speed model and combine it with the Perfect PPN1BBK battery-powered nozzle, it's still cheaper than buying the Lux Classic canister.

I would definitely go for the classic. The Legacy hose end is nonstandard and so is the electrical connection. Or as has been mentioned, you could get the Perfect clone or the clean obsessed version, I think they are the same other than the color. A very nice canister design that has been around for a long time and works well. Mike |
