I was browsing the e vacuum store web site just to see if there were any new canister cleaners and I was surprised to find that they are selling the Filter Queen now. I doubt that anyone will pay the price they are asking, if you look at their canister vacuums page it's $3398. That's crazy and I don't think anyone will pay that. I can't help but wonder if Kirby or Rexair will do the same thing, Aerus has started selling in vac shops as well.

You can buy directly from the Filter Queen website also. On the Canadian site, it is currently on sale for $1699 CAD - regular price $3399 CAD.

Looks like as of 6am on 9/27/21, $1,699 CAD = $1,342.02. So it looks like you can save over $300 just by exploiting the exchange rate by buying one from Canada instead of the USA. (Sorry Canadiens!)

I've never seen a Filter Queen in person, nor do I know any non-collector that has owned one. I've met people, who have bought new from dealers, Kirby, Aerus, and Rainbow, but never Filter Queen. I'm surprised they're even still in business. At the same time they're an important legacy brand so it's nice to see them jump into the online world.
