I've been looking for a Eureka self propelled upright for a long time, and when I find them, they are either grossly over priced or beat to hell. Well, I finally got lucky and found one on eBay for a reasonable price and in pretty nice condition. Here are some pictures of it.

Very cool. Looks to be in great shape. I recently found a green and white ESP upright (not self-propelled) locally for a price that demanded I bring it home with me. It's definitely getting hard to find machines of that era as people would beat them to death, just as they do now. The only difference is it took longer to kill those than it does today's bagless plasticrap machines.

I acquired a 3.5 Amp version of the self propelled. It's obviously the older blender motor. It took me a while to find one too.
Congrats on your acquisition. The self propelled eureka are hard to find.
How big is the motor in the vacuum you acquired.

Yes indeed!

Worth the wait I'm sure. What year is this model?

I'm thinking late 80s or early 90s.
