Here's another free vacuum that my dad got from Amazon Vine! It's a Hoover cordless stick/hand vacuum, featuring a digital brushless motor and ONEPWR battery system. My impressions so far are both good and bad.

The good:

1. POWERFUL suction for its size! This is probably the most powerful cordless vacuum I've ever used.

2. Powered by a removable, 4.0 Ah Max ONEPWR battery, which Hoover claims can last up to 45 minutes. And it charges quickly with the included charging dock.

3. Includes a power nozzle with an on/off brushroll feature, which cleans well on both carpets and hard floors. When the brushroll is on, it pulls the vacuum forward, giving it a self-propelled effect.

4. Brushroll is easy to remove and clean; just turn a cap on the side of the nozzle using a coin, and the brushroll pulls right out for easy cleaning.

5. Boost feature is activated by the plus button on the handle. It's very handy for cleaning up tough messes.

6. Dual-cyclonic technology does an excellent job of keeping the filter clean.

7. Dirt cup is simple to remove and empty, thanks to a trapdoor mechanism.

8. DustTracker LED headlights makes it easy to see the path ahead of me.

9. Comes with a nice set of attachments: dusting brush, upholstery tool and crevice tool.

10. Includes a wall-mountable rack for storing the vacuum.

The bad:

1. Motor is LOUD on boost mode. It's very high-pitched, similar to that of a Dirt Devil. I may need hearing protection when using this vacuum for long periods of time.

2. Suction, especially on boost mode, is far too strong for area rugs; the power nozzle sucks itself down to the rug, making it difficult to pick up debris from rugs.

3. Brushroll gets tangled VERY quickly with dog hair, not to mention that the opening is rather small. Because of this, the brushroll motor cuts out after doing several passes on an area rug; it takes about a minute, turned off, for the brushroll motor to reset.

4. TINY dirt cup! I didn't expect it to be so small on such a powerful vacuum. Because of how small it is, dust and hair gets jammed on a post inside of the cup, which doesn't fall out when emptying the cup, so I have to pull it out by hand.

5. Heavy weight in the main vacuum portion, causing strain in my arm when using it for extended periods of time.

Overall, this is a good cordless vacuum, but it's loud and can't clean area rugs very well.
