Picked this up at a yardsale for $50 CAD. Needs some work, new bag, new fan, new hose, but it had most of the tools, missing only the straight and curved extension wands. Included are the miracle head, the handi butler, and the rug renovator.

A ds 80 was my first complete vacuum. It took me 3 years to get the curved and the extended tube. Did yours have the handi water?
When you put on the handi butler they have little green cups. I'm attaching a picture. I'm attaching a link so you can see the handi water.
If you get a classic, omega classic 3 etc front axle. I'd you install it on the ds80 it makes it so you can access all 8 height settings.

Here is a link for attachments with the two you need. I paid $40 for just my 2 it's not bad. I'm not trying to spam you. I just love owning everything that Came with the vacuum.

Handi-waxer

No, mine didn't come with the handi-waxer. I'm hoping I can just buy the attachments I need rather than buying a duplicate set.

I understand you don't want the whole assecory setup but it took me 3 years of looking to find just those specific attachments. If I knew it would have taken me 3 years to get the attachments and I could had the chance to get them now rather than a few years.
You can message the seller and say you'll pay the $20 for the 2 attachments and shipping for the attachments. You may be able to get sellers to do this all you have to do is ask.

I'd just buy the second set, take the pieces you need, swap around any ones you want that are in better condition by comparing each side by side, keep whatever box thats in better shape, sell off the incomplete set and make up the difference. That's what I would do.

I agree with Huskyvacs. Doing it that way can greatly reduce your net cost in the end. It's a little more effort, sure, but worth it.
