Anyone know what the deal is with Hart vacuums? They just showed up out of nowhere on Walmart.com.
This one looks like a Hoover Power Drive. tinyurl.com/3a73r7x9... |

If the parts are the same as Hoover Power Drive, you can use Hoover parts on it. I use Kenmore parts on my Aldi Easy Home vacs because they started out as a Kenmore mold.
Yes I remember Durabrand, it was a re-badgered Funai product, still have the little CRT in my garage I had in the camper bought right at the end of the CRT era. |

Wal-Mart also used the General Electric name on vacuums made by Eureka exclusively for Wal-Mart as General Electrics. Eureka continued to make the same cleaners under the Eureka name for sales in places other than Wal-Mart.
Stores have done this for decades. Remember the Flor Genie for K-Mart? Was really a Singer. |

I have no problem with that, so long as vacuum stores can get parts for them. If the parts are the same as Hoover for Hart machines, then you’re all set. |

I’ve seen a lot of ads on YouTube for hart cordless vacs. This is the first time I’m seeing a full sized corded upright model. Just another brand engineered product, different colors and new logo but it doesn’t even pretend to stray from the Hoover design. Kind of like the new Hoover one power hepa bagged cordless upright. It’s just a rebadged and recolored Oreck elevate cordless.

Walmart's current electronics line is "Onn". They also stopped using the GE name on small appliances about 8 or 10 years ago and switched to Farberware, which is kind of odd because some Farberware stuff is really Farberware, while Walmart's line is mostly exclusive to Walmart. I think most of that line and the former GE smalls is made by Rival, Hamilton Beach, Jarden Group, et al, but most of the Farberware and former Walmart GE stuff is different enough that you can't tell.
