Is there any way to add a bag ejector to a Model LX? This is a 1952 model without a sensitivity dial on the vacuum.

You would need

To find one that still has the bag ejector parts in it. Most of them were removed by Lux dealers as the ones without a sensitivity adjustment dial were far too sensitive and the bags were ejecting too soon with not a lot of dirt in the bags causing people to complain they were going through bags like crazy.

My suggestion would be to get and LXI which has the sensitivity dial and hopefully still has the ejector parts in it. It will work optimally as you’ll be able to adjust the sensitivity and have the fun ejection system eject the bag just when it’s filled to YOUR liking!

But even most of the LXI’s had the ejection system removed but they may still have the auto stop and pop open feature still operable..the bag just won’t pop out…but of course the bag ejecting is the absolute novelty of this model as it was the only Electrolux to ever have it.

Hello all, this is my first posting. Here's a set of parts, including ejector, for the Model LX. I hope this helps.

Broken Link

The link to airwayqueen's eBay store is broken and shows up with a blank page. Can you put the name in instead?

Hello, it wasn't my "ebay store." I just posted a link that I came across. It's showing as "broken" because the auction has ended.

The Ejector arm is the only thing gone.

The issue with this one is the parts for the ejector are in there except for the ejector arm which pushes the bag out.
